Rivington Design House is pleased to announce an exhibition of new work by Bek
Andersen, CFNM. This is the photographer's first solo exhibition in New York.
CFNM will feature a series of nude portraits of men in their homes photographed by
Andersen over the last year in New York and Los Angeles. These men responded to a
craigslist ad that Andersen posted: “female photographer seeking men for nude
portrait.” The show's title refers to a genre of fetish called CFNM, "clothed female /
naked male," that embodies the changes in gender dynamics as a result of women's sexual
liberation. Andersen's photographs explore the female gaze; in CNFM, women view men
as sex objects in a way that is often criticized when the roles are reversed.
